Delhi: The central government has decided to sell IDBI Bank, which generates an annual profit of 10,000 crore, to private entities for 53,000 crore. At the same time, LIC, which uses public money for investments, has invested heavily in IDBI Bank. In this regard, LIC holds a 19 percent stake in IDBI Bank.
